Even the meaning of each character’s name. Nefissa is something of incalculable value; Abdul could be translated as merciful servant; Kamira is a guiding star and Amira, a pillar for the family. They are the main protagonists of Nefissa, the short film shot in the Alcazaba of Malaga that recreates the past of the ancient Muslim fortress through the story of Princess Nefissa.

LA OPINIÓN DE MÁLAGA
The Malaga short film Nefissa has been awarded at the first edition of the National Festival of Short Films and Film Music, Cinema Blue, with the award for Best Cinematography, in the Young Andalusia category. The awards ceremony was held at the Nervión Plaza cinemas (Seville). Nefissa was up for three awards, including the RTVA award and the Public award. To collect the award, Coraima Mengíbar and Fran Romguer, director and composer of this short film, took the stage. Mengíbar wanted to thank her family and the Nefissa team of professionals for their support and hard work over two years.
